THE ROLE:
This exciting Account Manager role has arisen due to substantial industry growth in anaerobic digestion and biogas. This role will involve liaising with farmers to provide a large range of products and services to positively improve returns on investments in anaerobic digestion plants. You will be commercially aware, ideally have a technical background in animal nutrition/feed or have a background in waste water treatment. Ideally you will come from an agricultural background in order to fully understand your client’s needs. A Superb opportunity to be involved in a progressive agricultural sector. An excellent on-going training & development programme will be available for the successful candidate.
THE COMPANY:
A leading UK alternative energy company that provides a range of services to help operators of anaerobic digestion plants gain more control of the process and improve methane yields in order to improve the return on investment.
Working across both waste and agricultural plants in partnership with clients, successfully generating over 30% of the UK's AD biogas output.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Nutrition/Environmental.
- Have 2 years’ experience working in an agricultural advisory or selling role.
- Ideally have a good understanding of livestock nutrition.
- Or have worked in the Waste Water industry.
- Hold excellent IT skills.
- Be commercially astute.
- Enjoy working on own initiative and also within a team environment.
- Be highly motivated.
THE PACKAGE:
- Basic Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.
- Benefits: Excellent training programme, 25 days holiday and definite opportunities for long-term career progression.
