Operations Manager

Operations Manager – Agriculture, Horticulture, Garden Centre or ForestryScotland.  Basic Salary Circa £60,000 + Superb working conditions + 35 Hour working week – Unrivalled holiday package of 36.5 days + flexitime + Enhanced Pension + opportunities for career progression!

The Job:
This is a newly created role and will form a key part of the Senior Management Team.  The successful candidate will be partly responsible for the commercial growth of an already successful business. There are excellent prospects for growth and career progression within this role, for the right person
We are seeking candidates, ideally with a background in Agriculture, Horticulture, Garden Centre or Forestry sectors, with great commercial acumen.
You will work closely with the Nursery Managers and other members of the Senior Management Team to oversee the commercial operation as a whole from production to customer.

The Candidate:
- Commercial experience within Agriculture, Horticulture, Garden Centre, or Forestry sectors
- Previous financial and budget management experience
- Experience of managing a team
- Solution focused
- Organised and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Full UK Driving licence.

THE PACKAGE:
- Basic Salary Circa £60,000 (flexible depending on experience)
- 35 Hour working week (flexitime)
- Superb working conditions (brand new facility)
- 28 days Holiday + bank holidays.
