Technical Support Manager/Trials Manager - High Wycombe - £45,000 + Company Car/Truck + Fuel

The Job:
- Carry out field trials as determined with the Technical Director & Commercial Director
- Liaise with farmers/agronomists to ensure timely provision of sites for trials work
- Manage & liaise with external trials contractors as required
- Liaise with agchem manufacturers & seed suppliers for the necessary trials products
- Collect & analyse data, write reports & assist with preparation of presentations utilising that data
- To maintain a dialogue with manufacturers at a technical level
Working hours are generally sociable however these do extend in peak times to meet demands of harvest. All trials operations are carried out to GLP standards & to legal & company safety standards

The Company:
Our client is one of the largest independently owned agricultural merchants. With Expertise in agrochemicals & crop protection solutions for combinable, vegetable, potato and root crop production.

The Candidate:
- Degree qualification from an appropriate university
- A minimum of 3 years trials experience
- Appropriate qualifications for spraying, handling chemical etc (PA1 & PA6)
- IT experience ref setting trials protocols, entering data & data analysis
- IT skills ref trials results presentations
- BASIS (& preferably FACTS)
- Clean driving license
- Location – preferably eastern/south Eastern England (midlands south)

The Package:
- Salary ranging from £40,000-£45,000
- Company Car or truck and fuel
