Factory Cleaner
Factory Cleaner (Mill) - Bury St Edmunds - £26,780.00 -Monday to Friday (07:00 - 16:00 or 10:00 - 15:00) -January 2025 start required + Benefits

The Job:
As a Mill Cleaner, your role will focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards at the feed mill to ensure feed safety compliance. You'll work as part of a multifunctional team, adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols, and keeping detailed records. Beyond cleaning duties, you may assist with equipment degreasing, painting, and providing absence cover for milling production. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
- Maintain and execute a robust cleaning schedule to meet feed safety standards
- Ensure the mill is consistently clean and organised, following food-grade 5S practices
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the team to support milling operations
- Highlight maintenance or repair needs to management
- Provide absence cover for milling production when necessary

The Candidate:
We are seeking candidates with experience in manufacturing or engineering cleaning environments who are highly detail-oriented and team-focused.
- Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations (ISO14001 and ISO50001)
- Basic IT skills
- A forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering cleaning roles is highly desirable
- Experience in a heavy plant/production environment (beneficial but not required)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures
