Technical Account Manager – Livestock Feed Products
The Job
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to oversee key accounts in the agricultural sector. This role involves managing relationships with large-scale clients, offering technical expertise on livestock feed solutions—specifically milk replacer products—and driving business growth through excellent customer service and advisory support.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Account management for high-value customers in the livestock sector
  • Providing technical advice on milk replacer products tailored to clients' needs
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Monitoring customer performance and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to provide problem-solving and solution-driven insights
  • Conducting farm visits to evaluate on-site needs and offer practical solutions
This role is primarily field-based with regular visits to clients and farms and periodic office meetings.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a strong technical background in livestock nutrition or animal health. You’ll need:
  • Experience in account management, business development, or technical advisory roles within the agricultural sector
  • Knowledge of livestock nutrition and a clear understanding of milk replacer products
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key clients effectively
  • The ability to interpret and analyse customer performance data to provide tailored solutions
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with the ability to work independently
Ideally, you will be based in the South West or willing to travel across the region to manage customer accounts.
