Finance Administrator
Finance Administrator – Chelmsford – £30,000 (DOE)
The Job:
The successful applicant will carry out various accounting tasks, including invoicing, payroll, preparing financial reports, managing tenants, ensuring rent collection, updating databases, organizing property EPCs, and assisting with day-to-day property management.
The Company:
We are recruiting for a family-run partnership operating across three main sectors. They manage over 3,000 acres of agricultural land and offer services such as crop production and land drainage. They also provide a range of commercial properties for lease, including warehouses and office spaces, while managing grain marketing and agricultural contracting. Their portfolio spans more than 80 properties.
The Candidate:
- Manage financial accounts for agricultural and commercial properties, including data entry and reconciliation in Sage50, invoicing, and BACS payments
- Oversee monthly cash flow and budget documents for senior management, impacting strategic decisions
- Prepare monthly payroll, handle bank reconciliations, and monitor tenant rent payments, following up as necessary.
- Manage tenant relationships, including tenancy agreements, rent reviews, maintenance scheduling, and proactively addressing issues to support smooth operations
The Package:
- Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
