Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance across various equipment and systems in our factory
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations
- Perform routine checks, servicing, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Work closely with other engineering teams to support ongoing production requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems (where applicable)
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any improvements made
The Candidate:
- Experience in an engineering environment, preferably as a Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Strong skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering – with a good understanding of systems, diagnostics, and repairs
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Experience with light electronic systems is desirable but not essential
- Former Forces Engineers are highly encouraged to apply, as we value the skills and discipline brought from military backgrounds
- A valid driving license and own transport are essential for travel to the site
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A competitive salary of £48,000
- A 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts) offering a great work-life balance
