The Company:

The Job:
As Packhouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of fruit growing, picking, and packing. You will lead and manage the daily operations to maintain efficiency and achieve the strategic goals set by the board. Your main responsibilities include optimizing packhouse performance, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, meeting customer expectations, and supervising a skilled team, including seasonal staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for stock control, packaging, and driving continuous improvements in operational processes to enhance productivity.

The Candidate:
- 3-5 years of leadership experience, ideally within the fresh produce sector
- Strong IT skills, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with industry standards such as BRC, HACCP, LEAF, and Red Tractor accreditation
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational improvements

The Package:
- Salary £50,000 DOE
- Bonus
- Accommodation provided if needed
