The Job:
As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our client's products directly to farmers within your designated territory. Your primary focus will be on building long-term customer relationships based on the company's philosophy, which emphasises consultative sales, customer needs, best practices, credible advice and exceptional product performance.
- Meet and engage with both existing and potential customers to promote our client's products
- Strive to achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a proactive approach
- Cultivate effective relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met consistently
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the confidential client, representing their values and commitment to excellence
- Attend relevant trade shows to showcase products and expand the company's market presence
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive approach
- Exhibit a consultative mindset, leveraging your deep understanding of the agricultural sector to provide valuable insights

The Candidate:
- Possess a strong understanding of the agricultural sector, coupled with a genuine passion for the industry
- An agricultural qualification would be highly advantageous, demonstrating your expertise
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve objectives, showcasing your determination and focus
- Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
- Must possess a valid UK driving license
- Willingness to travel as required, as this is an essential aspect of the role
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, enabling efficient record-keeping and reporting
