Bury St Edmunds – £24,000 – 9-Month Maternity Contract + Benefits!
The Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Customer Service Advisor to join a leading agricultural business on a 9-month maternity cover contract.
Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, this role is responsible for delivering world-class, tailored customer service to key internal and external customers. You will be the first point of contact for these strategic accounts, ensuring their needs are met efficiently while supporting order, prescription, and complaint management.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, requiring exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the smooth flow of orders across the supply chain, liaising with key internal teams.
  • Executing strategic order reviews to maximise fleet and production efficiency.
  • Developing a deep knowledge of key account processes, farmers, and contract growers.
  • Providing efficient problem-solving solutions to enhance the customer experience.
  • Producing accurate reports in a timely manner.
  • Facilitating veterinary liaison for prescription requirements, ensuring compliance with legal protocols.
  • Handling customer complaints effectively, working collaboratively to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong customer service experience and excellent attention to detail.
Your CV should demonstrate:
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally within the agricultural industry.
  • Ability to work accurately and professionally under pressure.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a logical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong team player, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • SAP experience and Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel (intermediate/advanced level).
The Package:
  • Salary: £24,000 per annum.
