The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including operating modern machinery, ensuring efficient crop production, and maintaining farm equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including operating modern machinery, ensuring efficient crop production, and maintaining farm equipment. The Job:
- Operate tractors and machinery (telehandlers, loading shovels, etc.)
- Carry out drill and fertiliser applications
- Perform cultivations and assist with root crop harvesting
- Maintain accurate records for farming activities
- Assist with hedge planting and other environmental schemes
- Ensure quality and attention to detail in all tasks
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Competent tractor driver with relevant experience
- Telehandler and/or loading shovel certificates
- PA1 and PA2 spraying certificates
- Experience with drill and fertiliser applications
- Strong background in cultivations and farming operations
- Good communication skills and record-keeping ability
- Excellent rates of pay with an enhanced overtime hourly rate
- Accommodation is available within the package
