Account Manager – Fertiliser & Bio-Stimulants Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + 20% Bonus
Benefits: Company Car, 28 Days Holiday (Including Bank Holidays), Phone & Laptop Provided
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00

About the Role Agri RS is recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of a well-established company within the fertiliser sector. This role focuses on sales and client management within the bio-stimulants and soil fertility market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with farmers, agronomists, and agricultural suppliers while driving business growth through expert advice and tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the agricultural sector
    • Provide expert advice and support on fertiliser and bio-stimulant products
    • Conduct on-site visits to assess soil health and recommend solutions
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fertiliser market
    • Promote sustainable soil fertility solutions to increase sales
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Technical Expertise & Consultation
    • Use FACTS certification to provide informed advice on soil and crop nutrition
    • Guide clients on integrating bio-stimulants into their crop production systems
    • Keep up to date with industry trends and product innovations
  • Market Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor activities
    • Provide sales performance reports and insights to the management team
  • Collaboration & Strategy
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery and client satisfaction
    • Support marketing initiatives and contribute to educational campaigns for customers
What We’re Looking For
  • FACTS Qualification (Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme) – Mandatory
  • 2-3 years of experience in agricultural sales, account management, or agronomy
  • Strong understanding of soil science, fertiliser application, and bio-stimulants
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools
