The Job:
As a fully integrated beef farming company, our client specialises in raising beef-cross calves, from 1 to 6 months of age, on their farms. They are committed to the highest standards of nutrition and biosecurity, aiming to produce calves that consistently perform exceptionally on the farms they move to. They collaborate closely with industry leaders on research trials, focusing on nutrition and genetics, and provide comprehensive performance data analysis and feedback to our dairy farm partners. Working with an independent nutritionist and veterinarian, continually strive for improvement in both performance and cost-efficiency.

We are working with a Purpose-Built Calf Rearing Unit who are now looking to recruit a Farm Manager. If you are passionate about agriculture and have the expertise to drive this calf rearing unit to new heights, we would love to hear from you.

The Candidate:
We are looking for a manager who can provide strong leadership and support for our people, the calves, and the broader business. The ideal candidate will have experience in calf/beef rearing and previous management experience, along with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, conscientious approach. We value professional development and are happy to support additional training needs, including attendance at conferences, courses, and collaboration with our advisors and trial partners.

Offering a competitive salary package and the option of a 2–3-bedroom house on the farm for the right candidate.
